66 Impala Convert LS2 Conversion
Regarding the header, there's no need for photo's. I figured out the issue.
I looked back over this thread, and early on you did mention the CPP steering box used is smaller than stock.
The other problem I discovered that will be unique for my right-hand drive vehicle, is that the left and right exhaust ports on the LS are offset. The ports on the right side of the vehicle are about 20mm forward compared to the left. That's why the Hooker headers don't clear on my car. The headers on the left are 20mm back, given them enough clearance (as designed) of the steering box on your left-hand drive vehicle.

Glad to see you post about the car again. What were the gears and tranny again? It’s hard to remember with so many builds after the years. Break time on my phone doesn’t help to scroll through the thread either. LOL
