O.K.........The first item that needed to be adressed was to get the upper radiator hose pieced together and in the correct positions......I had to piece together a couple of hoses and get them connected together.........I made a couple of adaptors at the shop to accomplish this.....

This second adaptorjoin the 1 5/16" hose (from the LS engine) to the 1 1/2" (fitting at the Radiator) and I ended up installing a hose barb fitting for the LS steam line from the heads....

Dave came over and we started by powering up the fuel pump.....the pump ran but we had no fuel pressure at the rails.....WTF......Checked at the filter ....no fuel,.....but we could hear the pump running and fuel flowing inside the tank.....Hummm!!.....Pull the tank down and found that I didn't have the push on fitting inside the tank snapped on fully and when the line built some pressure it blew itself off.....an hour later it was back in the car and built pressure.....Bingo!!.....That was easy...."AND"........The moment of truth........... Click on the pic and see what happened........LS Engines "ROCK"....

Ken, I'm really starting to hate you and your fancy shmanchy tools!

Seriously though, that two different size hose coupler with the steam port fitting looks awesome! I wish I had your toys!

Jags that run makes couplers like those for two different hose sizes.

I got the Power Steering reservoir mounted today....since the voltage regulator is no longer needed, I ended up mounting it right in that spot under the windshield washer bottle....worked out great...just in case I ever have to add fluid, it's just a couple of screws to remove the bottle assy.....I also got the radiator hoses all finished and added the coolant to the system.....not a drop leaked......I also changed the serpentine belt for a slightly shorter one......I'm waiting for a new turn signal switch to show up so I can finish all the under dash wiring and get that back together.....Exhaust hopefully later this week, then a front end alignment, then install the sheetmetal........getting close

Don't forget to remove that old hose clamp from your steam line. It will probably make a little rattling noise you will never find, but only hear on the hiway at 70MPH....LOL

Ken. I doubt it. I didn't get that week off this year. I have been thinking of doing a couple of days since it's fairly close. We'll see I guess. Id like to see this car in person.

Got the deck lid on today while waiting for parts to arrive....everything was going smooth until I opened the bag of reproduction clips that were supplied to hold the rear trim in place......LOL.........Time to go to the Hardware store and get some hardware that might actually hold the trim on.......Imagine that!!!
