intake and throttle body 5.3 question
intake and throttle body 5.3 question i just want to run this by some of you guys before i start looking for the stuff and buying it
i have a lh6 5.3 out of a 08 silverado.
i want to run a ls2 intake and throttle body that is dbw.
i will then buy a gto gas pedal for my car
i know i may have some accesorie drive issues but i will take care of that i just want to make sure that the ls2 intake and throttle body off of a gto will work for what i am wanting to do I can afford a fast intake yet
and i have to have drive by wire so i thought this would be best bet for the time being
any info would be great

An LS1/2/6 intake will fit if it has xathedral port heads.
The Ls2 intake has a 4 bolt TB. If your TB is 4 bolt, it woll work.
You're best off using the pedal that came with the ecu, harness, TB.

It will work I have an LH6 and have an LS2 intake manifold. I have used both the Truck throttle body that came with the LH6 and an LS2 throttle body and both work. As for the pedal. you can use a GTO pedal but you may be better served by a monte carlo pedal as they have the same connector as the truck harness. The GTO pedal uses a different connector and you will need to buy a pigtail ($20) to adapt it. The GTO pedal looks nicer but is expensive ($260) compared to the Monte Carlo pedal($80). The Monte Carlo pedal also worked a bit better for me by the way it was shaped and I could not fit the GTO pedal into the car. If you want a GTO pedal I have one brand new with box and pigtail that I will sell you for $200.
