It really depends with what you are starting with. It maybe simpler for you to use cable because you don't have the parts. I started with a wrecked 2009 donor van, so it was easier for me to go drive by wire. The gen 4s don't even need a tac module or iac. Good luck.

Could you use the gen 4 pedal assembaly on a 2000 ls1 motor?
