The back end of the y-pipe is up in the tunnel a bit. Not sure how it will clearance with the aluminum driveshaft, yet. Just happy to have headers and y-pipe fitted.
IMO, I may have to bend down the pipe at the bend before the collector is attached in order to get driveshaft clearance!
The movement of the cable is backward (away from header and towards rear of car) and arching upward. So the tight fit is in Park, and the clearance gets better as the linkage shifts up & backward.
I also mounted an xtra diagnostic port to the kick panel - I'll clip in the real one when I'm ready to button it all up.
Have three wires left: a long green speedo wire; a very short 12v brake light wire; and a nest of optional auto trans wires (I'll just tuck these up out of the way).
I have the dakota boxes to wire in, too. Then I'm done w/interior wiring!
