Default 95 impala ss coolant sensor Q

installed a 5.3 in my 95 impala with an s&p harness that uses the 3 wire 98 f body coolant sensor. i pruned the factory engine harness to only run the cluster. can i tap into the 98 CTS to feed temp data and if so which 2 wires of the impala harness would tie into which 2 wires on the CTS?

thats my last issue i hope, test fired it tonight with success.

Do you have the original temp sensor from the Imp? Reason I ask is that you can OHM the two of them out in a HOT glass of water. Put the two sensors in there and take readings on them watch wear they start and stop. If they are relatively close to one another - like within 10 ohms - you should be golden and they will give you the same readings from your cluster.

Good luck.

Thats the same one I used in my conversion. not sure which PCM you have but should be similar as far as the ect pinout..Hopefully your 3 wire has these colors in the plug into the sensor.

Pin A = Black, PCM sensor ground
Pin B = Yellow, coolant signal to PCM
Pin C = Dark Green, to Gauge
