5.3 into jeep with gm nv3500?
Ok, looking at swapping a 5.3 from an 02 Tahoe into our tj.
Looking to stay with a manual trans since we dislike autos. But, I also strongly dislike adaptors and want to keep everything as readily junkyard available as possible for ease of replacement later on down the road.
So, I was thinking an nv3500 from a 4x4 s10 with a 4.3.
Figure I'll just swap in the trans and transfer case from the s10 right into the jeep to keep it all nice and simple.
From my reading on the clutch though I'm a little confused. Will a clutch for a 4.8/manual application work? No different pressure plates or throwing bearings required?
Or do I need to order my clutch in pieces for different applications. As long as I can get it all from my local parts stores I'm happy. Just don't want to deal with custom anything and want to keep it as simple as possible.
Am I on the right track here, or, what am I missing? Thanks in advance!

Yes, thank you. I saw that one too.
But then I've seen others post up that they just used the stock 4.8 clutch assembly complete. That would be simpler if it works. Just trying to find confirmation before I go spending money.
