Conversion idea... come inside!! Ok, I have a 1988 IROC-Z that I want to do the following:
LSx (either 6,7 or built 1) and the 6 speed auto tranny from a CTS-V with paddle shift. I'd like to know if anyone has done this and if so, what kind of issues did you have?

haven't heard of it done on here or thirdgen.org, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been tried.
the lsx swap has been done many times. the paddle shift would just take some good wiring skill....?

Yea I dont mind the wiring part... I would just like to know if anyone has attempted it yet... I'm going to start gathering parts in about a month or so and wanted to know if there was anything special
