pulled out the 7.5 rear today along with the control arms, fuel tank, fuel/vent lines. mounted the vette filter/regulator and EFI tank, plumbed the lines to the filter, was working on bending up the steel line from the filter to go down the frame to the firewall when i broke my tubing bender lol. hopefully ill finish the fuel line tomorrow.

trying to figure out what im gonna do for an exhaust, on all my other g-bodies i used torque tech stuff but they dont make the 2.5 GN style tailpipe anymore and 3inch would be overkill. also trying to keep it as quiet as possible.

I used 2.5" from heartthrob exhaust (Its the MCSS rear exit style) and then instead of putting the last bend on and routing it out back, I left the final bend off and it exits just behind the rear wheels on a 45 like the GN exit.

how did you connect the filter to the tank side, I have all the fittings from the filter to the motor... havent dropped the tank yet to take a look, may be rerouting my filler tube to the inside bed area too, once I figure that out...

Used to ride BMX, but the "HOLY ROLLER" came from the fact the car was owned by 2 nuns

Too funny.

Thou shalt not smoke the tires in the presence of the law.

I used to ride BMX too, but I got tired of waking up sore.

small updates:
pulled the motor and trans out a few weeks ago and splashed some POR 15 on the front frame rails and whatever else i could hit with a paint brush, tore the LS1 down to make sure everything was ok(turns out the cam bearings are pretty worn but at 150,000 miles i was expecting to replace something - the rest of the bearings and internals are clean looks like it was well taken care of). lately its been going slow due to the cold weather and lack of funds - i did manage to barter labor for a set of rear adjustable upper control arms and solid lowers(not sure of the brand but they were new in the box lol) hopefully after the holidays i can get some parts ordered and put it back together for the final time.

Great looking start - What state are you in where there are $1,200 Bu's that look like that?

havent updated this in a while, havent worked on the car much due to being busy with work, lack of funds, the usual things. painted a few things in the engine compartment, finally had a chance to clean up the motor and paint it, put the front accessories back on(needed a new water pump, p/s pump pulley and alternator bracket because they were all damaged in the crash) also installed an LS6 cam and yellow springs i had laying around. got to set the motor back in tonight (hopefully for the last time), put the radiator/fans and top plate on also. its been unseasonably warm here so hopefully this weekend i can start wiring it all up.
