So do you have any dimensions on the duramax motor you can share?

600 rwhp will be easy just using a slightly modified turbo. Granted my dually is an LLY, but it has 550 rwhp through the allison on 33's (dyno #'s). Intake, exhaust, lightly modified turbo, and good tuning.

Really looking forward to you completing this project. I'm considering swapping my 1000+ rwhp dmax setup into a 2wd regular cab.

I have the dimensions of a sbc bbc all ls configs the and the dmax I have them all on my thumbdrive along with wireing diagrams If you need them I can send them to you when I get home in a week Im currently about 6000 miles from home but on my way

off the top of my head bottom of the pan to top of the motor is 34 inches for a lly I have a LB7 with out the variable turbo so maybe a inch less a bbc from pan to air cleaner is 33 inches a ls is around 27.5

Quite a few Diesel Camaros out there - like this one -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7FwbDqdEp4&NR=1&feature=fvwp - should be an interesting build. Remember that duramax weighs 900-1100lbs depending upon setup. You're adding a LOT of weigh to the front end.

there hasnt been a thirdgen and its the lightest of all the years also there is a bunch of vids of a chevelle that is running mid 11s bone stock duramax

just need to find the right setup of gears tires and tq convertor and make them all work together
