Truck long tubes on a 68-72 GM A-Body?

I removed my AC box as I have different direction planned but can take a pic of the clearance between the firewall studs for the ac box and rear of the engine and then take a pic of the AC box profile.
Keep in mind, I pushed my engine further back for better alternator clearance and dropping the oil pan behind the crossmember. If I relocated the alternator, I could move the engine slightly forward and gain more room. It's really a balancing act between:

I'm starting to plan the following combo, hopefully it will work:
1. F-body pan.
2. Pacesetter long tubes.
3. truck acc (assuming a frame notch for AC).
4. Keep stock AC box in 70' chevelle.
5. Stock flat hood (alt clearance).

Back from the dead, but you guys are saying camaro long tubes will fit Abody cars with an lsx swap?
What tubes exactly fit or are they all almost the same?
What about camaro shortys? Will they fit also?
Is the frame / body in the engine area the same for a 66 chevelle as your 68-72 chevelle?

With so many variables with the swap, I can only comment on what worked for me. If you scroll through the post, you can find the components I used.
Will other headers fit...no definite answer as they were designed to fit within a certain size area for the f-bodies and perhaps the Pace Setter long tubed just happened to also fit and clear the Chevelle frame. Other headers may have some tubing arrangement that moved a tube here or there for their fit and may clash with the frame / steering linkage on the Chevelle.
Shorty headers probably have a better chance for fit as they tend to be more swept to the rear, not encountering the engine cradle cross-member or steering linkage.
I don't know the frame / body differences between the two. I have my 64 I could try and measure and compare to the 70 Elky. Here is a link for the differences in the frame that I found.

With that said, I have no knowledge of how this would apply to a 66 Nova as I think they are completely different designs.
