Question about LQ9 MAF

I bought an LQ9 engine a couple of years ago, and am now getting around to swapping it into my 95 BMW 325.

I had a question about the MAF sensor.

I bought a new MAF since the engine didn't come with one, but the one I bought has a 5 pin connector. The connector on my wiring loom has 8 pins, in two rows. Do I not have an LQ9 engine? Can anyone help me out here? What MAF do I need?

I'm located in Korea, so it's been slow going, buying one or two parts I need, and waiting a couple of weeks until the parts reach Korea, and repeating that process, so if anyone can help speed this up, please help!

What did the LQ come out of? What yr? OEM harness?

Truck MAFs have 5 pins. Sounds like your 8 pin connector is for the throttle body.
