LT1 To L92/LS3 Swap Build
Hey guys new to ls1tech.com glad to be a part of the community. I'm currently going to do a l92/ls3 swap to my 95 trans am. And wanted to know any thoughts on making the transition smooth. I know it's probably gonna be a pain but it will be all fun after it's done.

Differences
Wiring!!!! Is big
Find a complete ls1 harness to throw in your car try get one for a t/a cause the connections for the lights are different on camaro
Your air bag connections are going need be rewired there different.
The ls pcm you get, is going need the keys ohm resistants that it is programmed with gm has 12 different ones I'm not taking about the pattern of the key either.
And you probably want grab the gauge console for whatever year harness you get, just in case it doesn't want turn on still.
And you need find a ls1 fuel assembly everything wiring, tank it needs plug into your ls harness there different connections, wiring fuel psi from ls.
And also you need.different kmember sticker or aftermarket will work, fuel lines cause ls has no return line.
Your tranmission crossmember won't work it needs some fabrications.
Also if you go ls2 or ls3 you needed knock sensor, cam extensions.
These doesn't include the price of the motor, tranny and upgrades you want do.
Bottomline just get a ls1 equipped car.....
