I'm looking at an LQ9 setup, do they have the same bolt pattern for the oil pan?
The reason I ask is the SIKKY setup for the 350Z is for the LS series.

All LSX motors have same oil pan bolt pattern

 

And yes, oil pan, front accessories and other parts are of the same bolt pattern.

Many of the Gen III and IV engine platform parts are interchangable (suggest you research more on what is unique to specifice RPO coded engines, as your question suggest you are new to the Gen III/IV engines)

 

Thanks guys. I am quite new to LSx engines. I spend at least an hour a day reading up everyday, and will certainly continue learning.
I've heard many times that LSx's share nearly anything, however an LQ isn't an LS, and I couldn't find the answer by searching.

 

An lq is an ls, at least for all intents and practical purposes. There is a massive sticky that covers nothing but oil pans that should be helpful.

The LQ4/9 is a Gen III engine. the LQ4, LQ9, LS1, LS7, LS3, LSA, LM7, etc are all GM's RPO Code for how a Gen III or IV engine is configured and intended for. The LSx is a generic name that most used. Many people call almost all of the Gen III / IV engines a LSx engine. Which is not technically correct, but accepted by almost all.. (I still will refer to them correctly as an Gen III or Gen IV engine and to the correct RPO Code, but that is just me),

 

Yes the headers will bolt up.

 

There are suttle differences with the accessories, but the majority of it all is direct bolt up.
