I'm wanting to do a Turbo 5.3 in my Buick Regal. I've found 2 locally. One is out of a 04' Tahoe and has 120K on it. The other is out of an 07' Silverado and has 30K on it. I can buy the 30K mile engine for $200 more than the 120K mile engine.

I would assume the lower mileage would be a better deal, but I'm new to these engines. Any help would be appreciated.

 

if you are not rebuilding it the one with 30k for $200 bucks more is no brainer.

 

Werd buy the low mileage one but make.sure its really low mileage sometimes scrapyards tend to lie about it they say its low mileage when its not so ur better off either checking the vinn or comp. Test
