Ls into a colorado Hey guys, my dad just picked up an 03 Colorado and I was contemplating how hard it would be to swap in a 5.3 or 6.0 and and do a mild turbo build and make it clean? As far as wiring and stuff. Also what would the cost be to just swap in a 6.0 and keep it stock? Just weighing my options to have a decent little sleeper. Thanks guys
People have done ls swaps for just a thousand or two but thats doing everything yourself or with really good connections. I have about 8-10 thousand in my s10 swap and thats doing 90% myself.
Should be a piece of cake if they are similar to thr recent year model for the colorado because they come offered with an optional 5.3. That would make life so easy....trust me im jammin one in an 1981 camaro isnt the greatest time even with motor mount adpaters and stuff.....you might be able to use a factory harness and motor mounts which would be cool for sure!
