Your engine is at least 2" forward from mine, I don't see any kind of vacuum booster working. Maybe a hydroboost...

Russ, I know there are hydrboost kits but they were outside my budget. I also found some info on swaps but I thought it looked complicated, lol after what we have accomplished I should have tried it. I will look and see if I saved any of that info.

RS2, I had no problems with mating my lq4 to a 4l60. What trans are you using?

Use a dremel tool on the bolt holes in the flex plate if they are only off a little. It's been done hundreds of times by swappers. If you have a three bolt convertor and a 4 bolt flexplate, swap the flexplate.

About 40 days to ls fest. I will post the video when I get back in town. Thanks again to all the people on this site. Couldn't have done it wthout your help and good friends!

Fenders, hood bumperrs are on and lined up nice for a mustang

Coolant fan won't turn on. Scanner says temp at 230 no ground signal. When I manualy ground relay fan torns right on. Any ideas before I am forced to go with an aftermarket fan controoler.
Thanks mike

The coolant sensor in the head is (or should be) the ground, replace it.

she is back up running!!! oil pressure is a steady 45 psi at 190 degrees. Thanks Sal, Dale and Josh. it took all of eight hours to get her running. My Lesson learned is dont assume that the O ring that came with the new oil pump is correct! I used the red one this time.

Got any links regarding this mod, it's the first I heard of it. I have a pretty shallow tank in my Caprice, and am looking for a bucket'ed fuel pump module like this. Hopefully it will help my fuel slosh issues.

Beertestr. The members name who I copied is firstgenguy. I found it under the spectre tanks yea or nay string. His write up was easy to follow. I had to modify hisplans slightly but it wa easy enough. I have more picts of it if needed.
