motors out of the 91. gotta change the rear main and put it back in.



did some small things today on the iroc.

sorta painted the engine bay flat black for now and started to smooth my valve covers. think im gonna fill in the lines too.

thanx wish i had the time and money to finish it. think i got most of the bog parts just need little things still. waiting for my arp pressure plate bolts to put the clutch on and then the trans onto the motor. i still gotta pull the interior and do a bunch of stuff i plan on doin in there. the guy that bought the 91z also bought me HPtuners so im goin to start learnin that stuff soon.

Not gonna lie I hate third gens with a passion but urs when u sold it was pretty sweet keep up the good work

well mostly been workin on the 91 this weekend but did get some work done on my 87.

installed my new slave cylinder, mounted the bellhousing to the trans, intstalled the oil pan and finished shaving 1 of the valve covers.

im goin to see how it looks on the motor and luckily if i do want to powder coat it theres a guy a block away from me that can do it.

thanx i still gotta do the other side. even with most of the stuff machined down it still takes forever with the grinder to get them down smooth.

well looks like im goin to get **** done alot faster now. found out im goin to be laid off on dec 9th. so means time to work on cars while waiting for interviews.

Great project and when u sold it it looked great w those wheels! It will b a real surprise to folks when u pop the hood and it's a single plane/turbo combo. Keep it up and good luck w jobs.

How do you guys pass smog checks after doing these mods? I thought you could only get buy with mods like this on pre 1974 cars.
