fuel pump pcm signal
I am putting a 3.8l into a 65 nova wagon but I assume it is pretty similar to the ls1.
What all needs to be hooked up for the pcm to send 12v from the Fuel pump relay control pin? Any signals needed from the tranny, brake, tank pressure, etc?
Also, where does the Prime signal come from?
Thanks

The pcm has a couple constant power wires (orange) and keyed power wires (pink). When the keyed power turns the pcm on it sends out 12v to trigger the fuel pump relay to prime. Then once there is rpm signal the pcm will power the pump relay fire the injectors/coils and the engine runs. The inputs you listed don't need to be there to run.

It's been a while since I've looked at a wiring diagram, but I thought that the PCM sends a negative trigger to the fuel pump relay coil, thereby activating the relay. Maybe I'm wrong??
