05 gto/ls2 ??
Am wiring the E40/tcm into an El Camino.[Stock harness modified by Speartech.]
The owner is using the 05 GTO auto shifter, and I need to find a signal, [either 12v, or neg], out of the PNP, [or?], to trigger a start relay. There is no BCM, etc, from the donor vehicle.
Also, there is a 2 wire plug, that terminates right at the ft end of the pass side inj harness run. The wires are green/yellow trace, and tan. My Alldata schematic says it's the IAT sensor. However, the MAF has the IAT sensor in it, and there are 5 wires in the plug. [1 wire appears to be down in the plug far enough that it won't make a connection.] I don't have the OEM inlet duct. Is the IAT separate, even tho the MAF is a 5 wire??
Now I know why the swap back to the LS1B system is so popular!!

NE help is appreciated!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I wonder why the Alldata info shows the IAT as being separate from the MAF, when there's 5 wires in it, and a sensor bulb....
Guess it doesn't make any diff, I'll just use the MAF and see what I get on the EFILIVE scan for IAT.
Might you know what wire I can get into to use for a P/N signal??
TIA, for the help!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
MAF should be 5 pin on all LS2 24X Applications.
Hope this helps.

There is no wire at # 13. At C3/22, there is a or/blk wire.
Hmnnn. I wonder if the person that modified the harness took the 13 wire out..
I find a yellow wire at the start relay...Should be run there from position 13/C1.
I was going to add the wire. However I have wire ends for the LS1B style PCM connectors, but they appear to be too big for the E40 pins..Correct or not??
On my 05 H2 trans set up, I ran a wire from pin 1 on the PNP switch, to a Bosch relay, ran the starter solenoid wires thru that. I think this may work.
MORE BS to deal with...Just checked the PNP plug.. Wires are no where near the color codes on the Alldata sheets..

Merry Christmas/Happy New Year all.....
