As far as I remember, there's not much to remove...it's a serial data cluster....meaning that you might have to de-solder some of the lights from the cluster pc board....if you're tying to turn some off.

I had to do this on my 1998 cluster, and it's not even a true serial-data controlled unit. I could find no other way to shut off the ABS light once I deleted the ABS hardware from my car.....even with HPTuners. Someone else might have more to chime in here.

There's like 20 wires going to the cluster.

B15---BLK/WHT---GROUND
B14----TAN-------OIL PRESSURE SENDER
B11----BLACK-----GROUND
B10---DRK BLU/WHT---EXTERIOR LIGHTS SYSTEM
B09--GREY---12V W/LIGHTS ON
B08--DRK GRN/WHT---VSS OUTPUT FROM PCM
B07--ORNG/BLK---DOOR AJAR CIRCUIT---TIES INTO BCM AS WELL
B06--GREY---TO SPLICE PACK TO UNDERHOOD HARNESS AND TIES INTO BCM
B05--PPL/WHT--12V IN START POSITION
B03--GREY---TO VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT
B01--BROWN---INTERIOR LIGHTS SYSTEM

A13--PPL/WHT----"WARNING SYSTEM"
A12--LT BLU/WHT---EXTERIOR LIGHTS SYSTEM
A10-ORANGE--12V CONSTANT
A8--BRN/WHT--ENGINE CONTROLS SYSTEM
A4--TAN/WHT--"TRUNK,FUEL DOORS,SYSTEM----DAYTIME LIGHT SYSTEM"
A3--PINK---12V HOT IN RUN, BULB TEST, OR START

This is what I have on hand for a 1999 f-body cluster. As you can see....not much to delete. This cluster appears to not be a true "serial data" cluster either...I think 2000 is the first year....but still nothing worth deleting as far as I can tell.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Thanks, just eliminating all wires I don't need on car. Race car wiring. I've already done the engine harness, outside fuse boxes (moving them inside the car, along with the PCM), now I'm working on the interior wiring. Got most of it done, just trying to eliminate all the warning lites in the dash, cluster looks like a Christmas tree when cars running.
