Default A Body using Tanks Inc Pump?

I'd like to hear from you guys if your using the Tanks inc pump set up. Ive tried the Spectre (POS) in my 71 and now am looking to put one in my 66 chevelle. How does it handle the low fuel sloshing problem?
Thanks alot.

So Far not a single issue with my Tanks in tank pump kit. ive even taken it on curvy mountain roads. Ive never had any fuel pressure lost... Keep in mind this Nova still has the drag race suspension on it so its no curb swerver.

I have a TanksInc tank and pump in my Stude, I made several passes down the strip with the gas level pretty darn low without any problems. Meant to fill up on the way to the track, but did not find a station.

Did you guys have any clearance issues between the tank and trunk pan with getting your AN fittings hooked to the pump? And be able to get the tank pushed up all the way? Thanks for the info.

I used the tanksinc setup on my 66 and like it so far but only 400 miles or so on the set up.

- It is going to force the front portion of the tank to be a little lower if you do not build some clearance into your trunk pan but it is not enough to matter. Probably 5/8th to 3/4 of an inch.

Do the spectra tanks include some sort of baffling on the fill tube? This is one thing I had added to my tank (fill tube from a 4th gen F body) and it makes a significant difference on the amount of gas that sloshes out when filling up.

3/4 of inch wont be bad ill just get a longer bolt if need be. Cant help you on the spectra tanks.

8,000 miles so far . 1/4 mile, autocross , powertour x 2 , low fuel, no issues.made a acess cover in the trunk , look through my thread . I would suggest you do the same if you ever have to change the fuel pump it will be a breeze . had to modify the tanks inc. setup to fit it into the 66/67 tank - just had to drill some holes in the bracket to clear the shallower fuel tank . Awesome! sounds like the route im going to go. Im going to check out your build now. Im trying to steer clear of an access cover not big on cutting up my trunk floor.

To gain more clearance, could you space the tank down on the support pads it sits on?
Well, I guess I'll see, I just ordered one.

Anyone know what size those fittings are for the tanks inc pump? Trying to piece together my fuel system now while summit running a sale on fittings.
