Looking good, I'm basically doing the same project. I've got a 1980 Firebird Formula clone I'm putting a LQ4/4L80e in. What engine mounts are you going with?

Very cool. My brother has a 1980 turbo 4.9 TA that really needs help as all turbo 4.9's did from day one. He's thinking about doing a mild turbo ls engine to stay with the turbo TA, but wants something he will not need to work on. Just get in on a nice day and enjoy it.

Good luck with your build.

I used Dirty Dingo's adjustable plates. I love them. Brent is the owner and is a great person to deal with. Sub frame holes are there for the clam shell mounts(SBC)
