God, I sure hear that!! It's apparently gotten bad enough that the wife told me that I had to knock that $#it off... This should be a fun build to watch...

My helper checking out the progress.

About the only way to get any work done when I'm on baby duty.... Only down fall, no grinding or welding when the kiddo is out there

Tore down the front end. Cleaned up everything, and painted the spindles. They look wayyy better.

Gutted out....Planning on shaving the entire firewall now.

How she sits for now....

I would like to get some axles and front brakes over the next few weeks, but that's a big hit on the bank account. We'll see how things pan out.

I love the 85/ 86 four eyed cars. Esp the coupe's. I am picking up an 85 coupe this weekend that my son and I are going to build for his first car. It has a 5 lug conversion already along with an 8.8 and 4:10 gears. I'm giving the kid my rebuilt lq4 with an ls6 intake, throttle body and injectors and 4l80e. The car also has porno red 85 interior. We are painting the car single stage white with black moldings and headlight buckets. I'm going to have the seats redone in red ultra leather the real soft ****. I have a set of 7x9 silver bullet take offs that Im going to put on it.

Here is what the car looks like now.

This is the look I'm going for.

I may get him a 3" cowl hood for it also.

I want to get him a nice "thumper" cam so it sounds cool in the high school parking lot. lol

I'll start a build thread once we start on the car not trying to steal yours. Keep up the good work.

Oh I like the telstars better than the welds wheels. jmo
