ok.... im backing out of the RnP set up... to many unknowns there...
i think im going with CCI for their steering box.. i have read it is very amazing and compares to the best RnP set up and absolutly no install or hedder issues
http://www.classicindustries.com/cam...ts/60014p.html
i also wasnt to happy with my NEW fast 92 intake.. the prior guy that i bought this set up from, he had tried to port the intake himself and i just noticed it.
so i gave it to a buddy of mine that does porting and he cleaned it up and prefeormed his port work on it.. looking forward to getting it back sunday.
i also took the first step and bought brakes... i will need to fiind the rest of the crap i to convert everything else..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WILWOOD-1967...2d6432&vxp=mtr
just waiting for them to get here... havent shipped yet..
i have descided to spend alittle more on the front bakes and leave the back drums for now.
i still have not made a descion yet on a wiring harness. $450 from wait4me sounds good, but $500-$700 from other companies for a custom harness sounds better.. i just havent felt ok with spending the money. i guess i need to fifure out of the stock length of the harness will be ok with me on were it ends up... i would like to put it inside the car or where tsnow has it .
hoping to covert the drums over to the rear in the next few weeks and put that up on the car... im getting tire of looking at all the sexy goodness on my work bench.
guages... dakota digital all the way.. i just need to pullthe trigger..
need to work with someone on the clutch conversaion, pedals, etc
and need to orger plumbing for and corvette fuel filter and all that crap..
its about to be go time... lol
moving forward but far from done

Nice build! I'm subscribed:-) You can also cut the clutch master, thread it, and make it adjustable. Then you will not need to weld a tab. I can send you information on that if you'd like. I am building a 67 with LS1/T56. Keep up the good work/progress. Oh, for the harness, I am going to go with the same guy Tsnow used, looks like a good deal to me!

That already looks adjustable, you might want to mock it up with a firewall bracket and see where the rod sits in relation to your pedal. That will help you determine if you need to weld a tab to your pedal or just adjust your current set up down to connect directly to the pedal. Here is what I did to my stock 2002 clutch master based on info from another member:
"Find a speed shop that sells spherical 3/8th rod ends and purchase one that is right hand thread and then buy the companion die to cut threads(3/8 x 24 is what I normally buy). When you cut the rod end off the master make sure and taper the cut slightly as it will help when you go to cut the threads."

I have not used it yet but I went back and forth with this and it should work out fine. Either way, now i have a stock set up that is "adjustable":-)

I was going to use SSP as well but you might want to do a google search as well as some searches on this forum on him and his business, it seems it is hit or miss on getting screwed by him.
I did not use him and have no first hand experience with his company, I am just giving a heads up on the reviews I read.

i was thinking speertech or current performance for the wiring harness.. both have the same lead time and about the same price. i am just on the fence on if i want to spend the extra $300 for a custom wiuring harness or just get the modied one.

Check the parts classified on this site and there is a section on there about negative feedback trader ratings, it is in the upper portion of the thread and several people commented on SSP. I went originally with wait4me and had my original GTO LS2 T56 harness modified and it never ran right.
I later went with Speartech with a stand alone and yes they were a little bit higher $$ than everybody else, but I'm the type that I don't mind paying extra for quality and service and this is one of the few LS swap parts that delivered on both.

Lizeec has a point about the bad press SSP has received on this forum. The only problem is this, every time I have called their tech line I immediately get a response. Over a year later, I call their tech line as I was having an engine related issue and needed to know exactly what the pinouts were for the CKP and Steve asked me why I thought it was in the wiring. After about 30 minutes on the phone with Steve he diagnosed my problem and it was far from being a wiring issue. So based off my experience with Steve and SSP I cannot report one bad word about him. I am like everyone else, Ilike to know I get what I pay for and would also like to know there will be someone there to take my call when this go bad. I say do as BMF did and buy the Holley setup.
