5.3 s10 fuel pump question
5.3 s10 fuel pump question hello i have a quick question, im swapping an 05 5.3 in my s10 ill be using the corvette fuel filter and was wondering if a fuelpump from a 96 up vortec 350 truck would work i know they use about 60 psi im just not sure about the volume, this is gonna be bone stock motor and i work at advance auto so i can get the pump for about 60bux and have no down time if it ever goes bad i can just grab one from work, and ill be starting a build thread in a few days
Stock 4.3 pump works perfect in my little truck with vette fuel filter. Mine is a 2002 on a stock delco sender fuel pump assembly. I've got a mild cammed 6.0 in it and put almost 40K on the truck since I finished the conversion a few years ago.
thanks man that help alot just wasnt sure if the 5.7 pump would have enough volume, i cant imagin why it wouldnt but if your running a stock 4.3 pump then i should have no problem thanks alot
