stock lq4 intake replacment I am wanting remove the stock truck intake, so it will fit under the hood of a 69 camaro. What is the best intake to go with. Will the LS3 intake fit on the stock 317 heads. I plan on changing the heads down the road to the ls3.
ls3 intakes are setup for rectangle port heads. Your 317s are cathedral port.
an ls1/ls6 or any of the FAST cathedral port intakes will work.
if you plan to go rectangle port in the future.. I'd get a cheap ls1 takeoff for now and run it as is..
the ls3 intake outflows the ls6 intake, and with the rectangle port ls3 heads.. you'll be doing well.
