I found a 4L60E at local wrecking yard it was in a 2002 camaro with a V6 engine. I am building a LQ4 and was wondering if this would be a good transmission to use. Would I have to change the torque convertor in this if I bought it.

 

Any junk yard transmission you would want to have rebuilt in my opinion.

 

As well as change the bellhouse as the V6 was a 60* unit. Just find a 4l60e out of a fullsize truck.
