1990 Isuzu Trooper 5.3 swap
My 3.4 engine I swapper in couple years ago just isn't doing it for me and I want something more reliable and powerful. So I think a 5.3 is the way to go. Going to try and find a 5.3 and 4l60E 4x4 combo with wiring and computers to swap in. Only thing I am not sure about is the transfer case since I want to keep the 4 wheel drive. My trooper is a passenger drop front end. And since the newer chevys are all driver side drop what transfer case can I use. Is a NP208 possible with some adapter plate or something. I eventually want to do a SAS in the front, but think I can still get the swap to work without it since people swap these engines into 4wd s10s and blazers.
Let me know of any feedback you have one this, or what I am getting into. Like what would be best options for fuel delivery, can I keep my stock tank and just replace the pump. thanks.

Probably just the Lm7, since there more available. I have a buddy that parts out wrecked chevy vehicles he buys in auction and had a good deal on a 02 LM7 and trans out of a yukon, but I didn't feel like spending the money at the time. But just something like that, any advice on transfer case?

No advice on a transfer case the will bolt up to the 4l60E and work for a passenger side drop? Please
seems like everyone else is just using a 700r4 if they are doing a passenger side drop?
