Default PCM swap question

I searched and didnt find anything to my satisfaction.
Is there a guide that shoes what model PCM goes with what year? I have a harness for a delphi (sold Im told) and purchased a PCM of ebay thinking I would have it flashed so it didnt matter it was not for an LS1, but the PCM less pins than the harness and wouldnt allow for it to plug in. Im thinking maybe a difference between 6cyl and 8cyl or standard vs auto PCM?
Any help would be great
thanks
Sean

Here are the pictures of the connectors. The harness has red and blue connectors. You can barely make out the PCM does not have pins on its outer side of its connectors

If this is a drive by cable engine, you can use either an 896 or 411 (both are red and blue pcms) that will work with that harness.

The harness is supposed to be from a Corvette that was turned into a stand alone harness, but the fuse box is huge. I will post a pic. I bet its a truck harness that the guy striped out. I got ripped off on ebay is the bottom line, so now i gotta make it work. Thanks for the inputs
