and before everyone doubts this third gens are lighter than 4th gens and a friend has that setup and runs 7.1 to 6.9 depending on his 60 ft but he is also an auto car so the 6 speed might hurt you

Why carb it? In a 92 no less...

88-92 3rd gens are the absolute easiest cars to do the full EFI swap into

Just an opinion, but if you dont want the 6 speed, pass it onto the many that do and get the trans type you want from the start. Going back to change things later down the road is always more difficult

You know Pocket I was just thinking of dropping a TH350 and holeshot 3600 and call it a day what do you think? My younger brother have a C4 1995 manual that he one day will drop LSx into it and im concerned that he can still use the ZF6 or not if not I got the t56 for him

Id use a 4L60E for the moderate engine you listed. If going bigger or boosted, use a 4L80E. Id skip the 3 speeds all together unless its a drag car and weight is a concern

Then why do the swap at all? You're dumping the parts of the drivetrain that make the combo shine, so you're left with an archaic control system about as powerful as a similarly built SBC at 4x the cost

the carb setups are working amazing on the LS motors the victor JR kit keeps the ingition control that all LS motors have and the intake flows better the a fast FI will be easier for a DD and a whole lot smoother but if you are making a cruiser and want to keep things simple go to the carb setup and get more power

GM high tech took a 6.0 did a showroom stock cam L92 heads and a carb setup with a 750 holley and it made 505 hp for less than 3000 total cost

Its simple makes more power than the best FI setups for alot less and its alot cheaper than getting a harness a ecu tune fuel system ect

Here is the story how I got the engine and trans,I bought a 2001 low milege camaro for 8000$ and it already has patriot stage 2 243 heads,MS3,FAST 90/90,Mahle pistons and the engine just been refreshed with oil pump timing chain pushrods 650" golden springs full gaskets, hooker 1 7/8",slp pulley and air lid with the ram air that hid behind the radiator, monster stage 3 with steel flywheel and he already gave me the fidanza aluminum with the car,MT slicks on the 16",bmr control arm, adjustable panhard bar,3 link subframe connector and eibach sportline kit and im sure I missed some parts now my younger brother might drop LS2 or LS3 in his Corvette '95 and his car already is manual and I dont think he can keep the ZF6 in the LS swap so Im giving him the T56 i toke off all the parts from the 2001 camaro and sold the body for 2200$ and I already sold some stuff like the FAST intake and the steel flywheel and some guy wants the suspension so the engine and transmission is getting cheaper for me BTW the transmission alone cost in my country 3000-3500$ with the pedals and center console thats the whole story and I hope now you understand why Im going carb in this swap and I want this car as a weekend warrior but in the same time I can go to the strip and have fun

you will do fine with the carb setup I am a fuel injected guy all the way but a carb in the right hands is just as good and ive done swaps into older truck and have experience with the victor jr kit and trust me its a good setup and with a good carb you will be surprised

the trans from your car will not work in a vette ALOT needs to be changed internal and external to get it to work
