Just an opinion, but if you dont want the 6 speed, pass it onto the many that do and get the trans type you want from the start. Going back to change things later down the road is always more difficult

GM high tech took a 6.0 did a showroom stock cam L92 heads and a carb setup with a 750 holley and it made 505 hp for less than 3000 total cost
Its simple makes more power than the best FI setups for alot less and its alot cheaper than getting a harness a ecu tune fuel system ect
BTW the transmission alone cost in my country 3000-3500$ with the pedals and center console thats the whole story and I hope now you understand why Im going carb in this swap and I want this car as a weekend warrior but in the same time I can go to the strip and have fun the trans from your car will not work in a vette ALOT needs to be changed internal and external to get it to work
