I should not have seen this thread whilst at work. Now I'm walking around like freaking Ron Burgundy, having to explain to people that it is an optical illusion and/or just the pleats in my pants!!!!

On my way to return them to the pants store....

F'n awesome build, I wish I had the time to do a build like yours, great color on the car and wheel choice as well!

Nice build. I normally don't like black rims but those things are sweet! They really fit the car.

Should have some updates this week. Its been on the back burner since I've been trying to balance the Navy and starting a shop.

I honestly couldn't tell you why it would be needed but I've had it for YEARS.

Oh ****, whats this? Progress? Yes, yes it is. Hot side is all in. Figured out the downpipes and they are in. Gotta bolt the turbo's in and finish up the cold side. Get some tabs to mount the radiator and intercooler good and sturdy. Now just got some suspension pieces to come in that I overnight parts from MERICA!!!! 4L80 should be back from getting built soon and have been gathering parts at the shop for the next motor which might just have 6 bolts per cylinder and some heads that might have TFS on them...

Those twin 6766 BB turbos should make some noise.

Now debating on going manual steering and switching from vaccum brakes to hydroboost.

Question. When you were welding to the stock body/floor ect, did you have any problems with the zinc coating messing with the welds? Did you just sand through the paint/zinc to weld? Ive been having to sand the S*%$ out of my stock sheet metal to get through where theres no zinc to get a clean weld...both tig and mig. jw. Thanks!! Great build! subd.
