Alright so I'm wanting to do an Lsx swap with either a 5.3 or 6.0... I just dont know what car to swap it into... I'm looking for something light not like really heavy maybe around 3000-3500 i originally planned on getting a 1st gen 2dr 2wd s10 blazer butr I havent completly decided yet and I want to know what other Rwd cars I could do this to...Perferably late 80s to late 90s cars (chevy perferably)

I haven't seen that yet.

J/K You really can't beat the fox body for the weight or traction, or my fav. the regal, monte, cutlass swaps.

A G body would be a affordable option. .maybe a Fox body Ford.. My 71 Chevelle weighted in around 3600 lbs. and My 71 Nova should be around 3000 lbs.

Question, do you have to worry about SMOG ?

And just to let you know talked to Phil today at BRP they make a 1 3/4 in the rail for S10's 45900,the passenger side header hits the rail on 6 and 8 on the Blazer, "BUT" Phil did a mock up that he has sent to Hedman so in about a month or so you can get long tubes which has been a bitch to find that work well

The 19x10 is about all you can stuff in the stock wheelwell with a 285 tire I'm about 1/2 from the leaf and flush with the lip with a 79mm offset. NO Spacers in rear and 2" in front could of prob went 1 3/4 though I have about 5/8 -3/4 to the tie rod with drop spindles and 2" springs. Hp hmmm I would think about 380 to the tire maybe a bit more. I'll eventually go L92 with a cam and a stall but for now just wanted to finish her off and have some fun

You'll also have to set the rear back about 1/2" if you use the 8.8 which is easy and actually centers the wheel in the well if not the rear will hit the floor with 3" drop leafs.Using Belltech street and performance shocks, also will be installing a 2WD second Gen Blazer front and rear stabilizer bars
