You got a -6AN to 7/16 fitting from them? I can't find anything smaller than a 9/16 on their website...

Bump. Any other suggestions? Going to have to have a line made if I can't find something to work with my setup...

On my 70 Chevelle I just unscrewed the 1" pressure fitting out of the 03 truck pump I'm using and screwed the one out of the 70 pump that was on the BBC. Works perfect and didn't have to buy anything.

The pressure line should not be 7/16.

The return I just clamped the Ls return hose to the stock chevelle fitting.

I did just what 99Vette said. Just used my old original hoses and screwed em in the back of the lq4 power steering pump. No adapters and no leaks so far.

I didn't even think about looking at the fitting on the pump end. I will check it out and see if it will work. Thanks.

I'm not sure what to tell you. The fitting going into the box (not the pump) is 7/16. It's very small. Maybe its a Corvette thing.

But you should be able to reuse your stock hoses. Unless the Vette pump is further away than the truck pump. I did have to bend the metal tubes some but the same hoses have been in the car through the SBC, 2 BBC and now the 4.8.

At some point the truck boxes went to metric fittings.

Well crap. The stock Corvette line fits into the PS pump, but the hose is too short to reach.

Back to the drawing board...

The double flare should be very easy to get a piece of metal line and a union. You could bend the new metal line to meet the old p/s hoes where you want it then union them together. Probly gonna cost about 8 bucks.

If your stock fitting does work you can probably take it over to NAPA and they can make you up a line with those standard ends. The NAPA were I live makes hydraulic lines anyway, I assume all of them do.
