I bought enough to do the engine harness and all the other harnesses under the hood.
20' of 1/8" - Didn't use any of this size. It's literally only large enough to fit a single wire. Don't bother.
20' of 1/4" - I used all but about a foot.
20' of 1/2" - I have about 5' left
20' of 3/4" - I have about 10' left
10' of 1" - I only used about 2' toward the back of the harness where it gets real thick.

HERE'S a shot of it installed.

No that is black braided. The wire running under the balancer on the other pic is the wrap

The TechFlex is rated at 250* constant and 450* melt. It does just fine resting on my heads but I wouldn't run it right next to the headers.

After almost a year and about 5K miles it still looks brand new.

The ebay seller furryletters seems to have good pricing on Techflex F6 split braided covering. That is what I plan to use. The pricing on McMaster is just a little higher and shipping is anyone's guess.

Eric, if you're talking about the pic in post #15, it's still there, I can see it.

Yeah, it's there now, but for the last two days I couldn't see it. I saw the other pics, weird!

How convenient. Was going to do a search on this and here it is on first page.

Someone mentioned a tool. This place sells a few different sizes.

Looks like I will be ordering from here.

If you've never used the TechFlex, the tool is most definitely NOT necessary.

And just an FYI, the Ebay seller is roughly 1/4 the price if you're buying by the foot. no affiliation. http://stores.ebay.com/FURRYLETTERS

I didnt see it mentioned, but I buy my corrugated loom at Waytek. good prices, and they also have alot of OEM style clips ect. It is much better quality than the part stores, and they sell a couple of different temp ratings. They also have the braided loom but I havent tried it.

Are you guys using the split or the expandable techflex? I would like to use the split for ease of install/removal/service. Does the overlap do a good job of hiding the slit?

I think most are using the split, that's what I plan to order.
