or if you have the original harness that came in the truck?, you could use it on the the lq4.

I think you might need a segment swap on the pcm, because the LQ4 most likely came with a 4L80E.

If you still have the 2004 pcm, you could copy/paste all the engine tables from the LQ4 tune, to the 2004 pcm.

You would need a tuner software, like HP tuners or EFI Live to do this though, or send the pcm out to a tuner to get it done.

Ok, well I actually have both pcms. Should I have the transmission software reprogrammed on the pcm off the lq4 or should i have the 6.0L software reprogrammed on the 4.8L pcm??? Also, where would I need to go to have this done? obviously im not very limited since I could just mail it off somewhere, I just dont know who does this type of tuning/programming

Has anyone else used this aftermarket flat flexplate on a 6.0 and NOT used the factory spacer between the crank and flexplate?

Will the starter engage properly with the flat flexplate sitting in closer to the block since there is no spacer?
