Electric Fans 1 or 2?
Many that require high cooling.. have use Taurus fan. They pull a lot of air, but have a very high electrical load and can be somewhat noisy.
I have just fitted an 02' Z28 Camaro LS1 engine, trans with the Radiator and Fan to my 71 Nova. I had to open up the left side of the Radiator support some, but otherwise it fit ok. I wired up the Fan as stock and the PCM is controlling the fans.
Some fans can be controlled for two speed and some not. That is a feature you might consider when looking for a JunkYard setup.

From years of reading posts I can tell you LS swaps don't seem to be difficult to cool. Using modern, more efficient aluminum radiators might be one difference, but even guys running stock brass radiators don't seem to need too much fan.

From all that I read, if you're using the older radiator, grab a windstar or taurus fan.
