Going to change cam, valve springs, push rods and timing chain.. Carb setup with a small shot...

Ordered a custom grind cam ,push rods and valve springs from VA speed.. Bunch of parts from Jegs also .. Hopefully everything will here by Thanksgiving weekend to work on the monte !!

28 by 11.5 on a 8 inch rim ..

Is your car a factory non a/c car? Or is that one of those conversion boxes?

Mocking up the LQ4 .. Sandblasted the valve covers, Intake and timing chain cover.. Going to powder coat them next !!

Stupid question but how did you clean your block to paint it? Wire brush, regular brush, chemicals? I need to clean mine also so I can paint it.

I used brake cleaner with a paint brush and a toothbrush size wire brush . Then painted it with POR 15 engine paint... Good luck !!

Greg Jr powder coated my intake, valve covers, timing chain cover, coil brackets and lifter valley tray..
