Which pedal and TAC to use

Which pedal and TAC to use
My 5.3 engine was originally a DBW. I still have that TB and computer. I did not get the TAC or pedal from that truck. My question is do I just go the junk yard and pull out a pedal and TAC from another truck? Does it have to be the same year and engine? How picky are these computers when mixing and matching parts?
Here are a few pics of my computer if that helps.

should be on the fire wall. Look for a black plastic box with metal/aluminum mounting tabs. Be sure to get the wiring that goes from the pedal to the tac box. It goes thru the firewall and is a short harness be carful not to damage it.

The best thing is to have all the parts from the same year truck. They dont have to be out of the same truck. It was nice that I got all my stuff together out of the same truck. Works great, had to shorten the pedal about 5" or so.

I was told the engine was out of a 2006 Silverado. I am on the fence about going with a DBW or DBC setup. There are a few pedal/TAC setups in the for sale threads but it sounds like I don't want to just go buy any pedal/ TAC setup. I was going to get a pedal and TAC from PSI Conversions, the same people I am getting the harness from. Umm decisions, decisions

I agree with you, Vette, about the DBW. It sounds like the best way to go. I have been calling around today to try to find a pedal/TAC assembly. I found one for $100 which does not seem like a bad price. It is out of a 2007 6.0 truck with a 24 tooth reluctor wheel. The guy also has the harness and computer out of the same truck and will sell the pedal, TAC, computer, and harness for $200. Which sounds even better. I already have a computer but I guess I can sell that for a few bucks.
The other issue is I am going to use a 4l60e in my swap and the truck mentioned above has a 4l80e in it. Will this harness and computer work with the 4l60e? Of course, it will need to be converted. But I am asking can it be done and does all this make sense? My mind is spinning with this swap.
