Fuel rail return / filter regulator question

Hello all
I bought several items before I bought my engine, one of them being the Corvette filter/regulator.
As it turns out, there's some kind of return off the rails on my 5.3 I got. It's the Flexfuel version, the L59.
Here is a picture of it:

So my question is, how do I hook up the fuel line and return? I know I need at least one of the quick connect AN adapters at the rail...do I need two? Does this setup mean I ditch the Corvette filter/regulator and just put in a fuel filter instead?
I have a few diagrams in a book I have about LS swaps, but they all have a single line into the rail, and no return.
I am leaving the 5.3 stock for now, but will be upgrading to a car intake/rails etc down the road. Could be a year or more though.
Thanks for your help

The regulator is on the rail.. thst rusty cylinder with the vacuum line is it. so ditch the vette one and then run 2 lines to the rail. you will need the 3/8 connector and a 5/16 connector.
