there are several of us who have done Vortec and LS swaps into our FJ60 and FJ80 series toyota land cruisers. I did an L33, another did an LS2, and there's a few LQ4s and LQ9s running around. The results have been excellent with all of them.

Look at all the aftermarket parts that are available to do the ls into a mustang swap........I have to say the Mustang is the number one choice!
