LM7: DBW->cable throttle ??

hello all,
i am currently amassing parts to swap an LM7 (thats been bored to 5.7L), and a 4L60 into an S14 240sx.
i just noticed that the donor motor i got was indeed a drive by wire throttle, and so i already have the throttle body (i am re-using the truck intake mani) and corresponding engine harness. since i still need to source a PCM, i was contemplating which direction it would be best to go with
either:
a) buy the only remaining parts i need to just stick with the DBW setup: DBW PCM, and DBW pedal.
b) or what id actually LIKE to do...convert TB to cable, which would require replacement of TB, buying appropriate ECM, and having to convert(or replace) the engine harness to match the new setup.
my question lies here: can the DBW engine harness be used without running the DBW throttle itself, and just use the TPS that is already there? or do we think we could just use the existing harness?
