Pacesetter headers for an f body work pretty good. Ive done the swap and i get probly like 15mpg street driving

you think they will clear the other driveshaft going to the frontend?

For a hunting truck I vote screw the fancy body work and paint the bugger OD Green!
Also nice work so far on the swap.

thanks man.... its the pops truck and his decision on what goes.. im just doing the slave work

also the oil pump, new gm head bolts (new block is a 05 vs. the 01 we had so the arp bolts wouldnt work) and every gasket needed will arrive tomorrow.. once the motor is assembled and ready to go ill start taking the truck apart and getting dirty

i think the mids are the BRP conversion headers....cheaper to buy through BRP

few thinks changed in the "plan".... cam has become a 222/226 .5xx/.5xx 111+2 and the motor and transmission are about ready to be put together as soon as i find a good price on a converter.
