Thanks, guys! I finally got a few odd jobs done. I finally got around to elongating the holes in the flexplate and bolted the torque converter up, finished the shifter linkage, installed the driveshaft, cut the cable housing to length for the Lokar TV cable, and bent the trans cooler lines. I've ordered a Lokar trans. dipstick that should be here today, as well as a used alternator. I'll take the alternator to a local shop to get tested and have a 1-wire conversion done on it when it gets here. I'm also going to pick up my belt, hoses, PCV valve, trans fluid, and whatever else I might need on my lunch break today.

After I get all this installed, I will still have to have my exhaust hooked up, and the TV cable properly adjusted before I can actually drive it, but I'll be sure to get a video of it running.

New upper and lower hoses, belt, trans lines, Lokar trans dipstick, temporary steam line, and other tidbits installed. Trans fluid and coolant put in. Reached in, turned they key to "ON" position, let the fuel pump prime, turned the key with eager anticipation............"click"................Bat tery is dead!!!!!!!

It's hotter than #$&* outside with high humidity today, and I'm sweating like a.............well I'm sweating pretty bad, so I hooked up the charger and came inside for a little while to cool off while the battery charges. Figured I would post a quick update since I'm inside.
