Default TR6060 to a 5.3

Need advice on mating a 2010 camaro tr6060 to a 5.3. I think the input and bell housing are slightly different than a t56. Camaro flywheel? What pilot bearing? Thanks

You have to use the 2010 camaro slave cylinder and pilot bearing. The bellhousing to block is same as LS1 style T56. TR6060 has integral bellhousing, T56 has bolt on bellhousing. Input shaft has same splines, but TR6060 is longer. Clutch wise, the splines are the same and the flywheel teeth are the same, so you can technically go with any factory LS style T56 or TR6060 clutch/flywheel. Not sure my statement is true for aftermarket equipment. The 2010 camaro clutches are the same as the LS7 clutch. You can find them in great shape lightly used for dirt cheap. Paid $125 shipped for mine.

Thanks
I knew the input was a little longer and the bell a little deeper on the TR6060, but wasn't sure if it all worked out the same. I got a great deal on the trans, (still need to pull it down and check everything), so now I can pull the rest of the parts together.

Also depends on the year of your 5.3. Some early version 5.3/6.0s had longer cranks flanges for mounting older automatic transmissions. If you can't search here for the differences in the years, we'd need to know what year you're working with.

The 4.8/6.0l had the long cranks, not the 5.3.

I did the swap in a 2000 s10 that was an automatic, I just bought a clutch master and pedal assembly for the S10 and hooked it up to the tr6060 it worked great.
The only thing I had to buy was a fitting to adapt the S10 style line to a braided line to run the trans. I don't see why you can't try the same, It's a lot easier to mount the clutch master that's meant for your truck then adapting one.

Scroll down on This Article and they explain what parts are needed, You'll need a drive shaft with a slip joint if yours doesn't have one and probably a Sonnax adapter to be able to bolt the driveshaft to the transmission. Here is a picture from my S10 build.

Im just about to mount tranny on to the 5.3 i have the flex plate from the 5.3 that came with the engine with that work with the oem clutch that came with tranny off a 10 camaro ss. My question goes to the bolts that were for my 4.8 clutch kit thakitsed to mate my old nv3500 are 2 short to re use on the canaros cluth kit am i suppose to get longer ones or buy a different flywheel?? I'm really not clear on what you're saying, You want the flywheel/clutch and pressure plate for a TR6060 unless the flywheel you have shares the same part number.
