I don't think the aftermarket t-tops will do anything to increase the value or collectablility of these cars in the future. When I was building 2nd gen cars we always avoided the aftermarket t-top cars or replaced the entire top with a non t-top or a Fisher body top.
The fact that the car is an L98/G92/Z03 car is what will eventually bring the value up.

Progress!!!!! Ok so it has been a while since I updated but I've finally made some headway on the car.
Got the car uprooted from our shop and to our house.
LQ4 complete pull out w/ engine, computer, wiring harness, and gas pedal/TAC modulej; $1600
Dummy LS block for mock up.
Old Clamshell mounts that were mounted to the frame
New GM 98-02 LS1 Clamshell mounts w/ stock bushings taken out and replaced w/ new polyurethane bushings from spohn and will mount to the bottom of the block.
Dummy block fits perfect
