Default Please help!

So although I'm a new registered member to ls1 tech of been reading and using the site for a year or so now. And I've seen the many topics of the v6 to v8 swap. And now unfortunately I'm about to post one looking for some direction. I have a 95 a4 3.4 Camaro. This weekend I'm picking up a 93 m6 lt1 Camaro. My plan is to just completely swap everything over. Pcm's gauge cluster dash harness front subframe rear end etc etc. then I plan to put my v6 into the donor v8 car because it looks fine then I will sell it for cash to put into my car. What I wanna know is will it all work. If I just swap everything bet it should be straight forward correct? Speed density vs MAF? I've read the differences thread but is it really that big of a difference? I'm just making sure everything is going to go as smoothly as I hope. Any help direction and break down of the process is appreciated and I apologize ahead of time for another swap thread. Look forward to the replies.

I've looked over that website many times haha. What I'm really curious of is the car needs a transmission. Was a 6 speed. Do I need to get a 93? Or can I get any 93-97 6 speed?

It can be any of the LT t56 trans but the 93 dont have CAGS

Not to knowledgable on the 6 speed yet. What is CAGS?
Is it something to do with the skip shift?
And how does that work anyways?

Thanks for the help and link. Maybe I should look harder for a 93 t56 then. Or just make sure I get the skip shift eliminator adaptor deal
