Correct. She bought this car used a few years ago and we know it has 4.08's also has no issues getting both wheels spinning both times so don't know if someone has swapped it or upgraded it at some point.

Yea i mean at the power level now the 4.08's are perfect but if we end up doing the bottle on the car it will need a 3.69 gear.

I used the 3.54 gear from the early Q45. The one I picked up had 100,000+ miles on it. All I did was put new fluid in it and I beat the hell out of it. Never did have a failure.

I'm trying to find the later Q45 dif with the 3.69s, so i dont have to worry about mixing axles like with the earlier ones. I was told i could just run J30 axles with the later year Q45 dif

I know you have to change the axles but those axles are larger and have a higher spline count than the J30 or stock axles which I think you will need with the power you are making. My engine produced 530hp and I never did damage the axles.

Few upgrades to the car since the BF last posted...

New coolant over flow tank

Plastidipped the over flow tank and got an SLP underdrive pulley

Pulley on

Then ordered FAST 92 and Nick Williams TB

Impatiently waiting on the parts to come!!

TB

FAST, gonna paint the letters pink cause the red just doesn't go with the rest of the car

After having to reroute a million things bc nothing is ever easy just "bolt on" on this car.... finally on and looks awesome

And on a side note put the FAST on yesterday in short sleeves and then come out to this today... lovely weather!!!

Car is all tuned now, spun worse while out tuning yesterday than it did before, hopefully will have some new dyno numbers soon and hoping to get to the track this Saturday!! Also have to figure out what i'm gonna do with the hood because now the cold air intake is hitting on the hood in the front and it doesn't close all the way flush... If it's not one thing it's another.

Took the 240 to the track Friday night and got a new best.
Car still has a ton of room left in the 60 foot. Really need to launch the car harder and get the new suspension dialed in.
Also some better track prep would be nice. I will admit this pass was the scariest pass of my life, on every shift the car was kicking out.

Little update.

2 step really makes the car alot more consistent and has brought the 60's down ALOT!

Best 60 to date now is 1.501
