Your car is looking good! I hope t see you at LS Fest next year. Finished my 66 on wed then drove 500 miles to ls geting over 21 mpg. There were no other fist gens there so I would like some company next year. Wish I had the skill and money to do the quality of work that you got going. I met sixt5 there. We talked about his build.

Curious, why did you go 8.8 and not 9?

Mainly cost and because i already had the housing and multiple gear ratios. I figure I'll have around $1400 in this rearend compared to probably $2000+ for a 9". Im thinking 33 spline axles and the new moser wavetrac should be stout enough- Guys have gone into the 7's with 8.8's

I'm running a factory 9" with 31 spline strange axles. I shouldn't have anything to worry about with my 430 ish hp

I'm looking to make 1000rw so I need a stout posi unit. Apparently the wavetrac is the ****. It comes with a lifetime warranty too

Nice build! I will have to show this to my father in law. He picked up a 65 last month and is doing a budget build on it. Nothing like this though. Looking forward to more!
