Default Some ac questions

Ok afte couple hours researching the ac swap im still a little confused what direction i should take. Im running a 2000 ta pull out complete with compressor. Its been put into my 89 nissan 240sx. This car is just a fun daily drive car.

I was succesful in locating the metric bead lock fittings i need for the firewall...

now i know my compressor is variable. What i need to know is what is the best way to go for maximum cooling? i live in tx. heat here is now up to 105(feels like 115) and the car kicks out a ton of heat from the long tube headers.

I have no problems making lines at the local shop. but.. i have a brand new 89 nissan replacement condenser. should i use this? or should i buy a universal one? im worried about the pressure differences i see people talking about using different orifice tube/expansion valve setups.

I also have the high pressure switch that came in the ta. i was going to incorporate this into the setup. But im having a problem finding a universal drier/accumulator that can be used with this setup.

What should i do here for most efficient setup?

give me some ideas please or your experience. This is the final part of my build. (wiring i have no problem with )

If there's any way to keep the Nissan compressor and fab some brackets to make it fit, that would be your best bet. Mixing and matching a/c parts usually leads to less than satisfactory results. I have an '84 Ford compressor mounted to a 5.3 in my wagon swap and making a bracket isn't really that hard.

well i dont have the Nissan compressor. i have the ls1. i dont mind buying an ls1 variable compressor compatible universal condenser and accumulator. just wondering where to get one.

The ones i have searched up like vintage air will not work right b/c there pressures are setup for different type of compressor. So thats why im asking what people used in there systems and how it cools during idle and bumper to bumper traffic.

I found one guy on rx7 website that said he bought a universal condensor and drier with extra port for the high pressure switch off ebay and it worked just fine. however im waiting to hear back from him b/c i cant figure out what exact drier he bought.

If all esle fails and it makes the most sense to ditch the fbody for a sanden and have to get a conversion bracket to make there setup work ill do it. but my compressor is already very close to my frame rail....

Im not trying to cheap out on this build. just build it the right way so i have good cooling during low speed and idle.

after some research the rx7 guys used universal parallel flow condensers and a receiver/drier from ebay that i have found links too. Last thing im wondering about is the orifice tube... that way it can act just like the gm system.
